I booked this hotel online before flying up from Phuket. Whilst it was a relatively cheap room ($27 AU) i had no expectations, however I was pleasantly surprised when i arrived. The room was bigger than i expected, and while it is a bit dated, it was clean neat and tidy. Daily maid service and bottled water supplied. Neat clean linen. Nice neat bathroom and shower area. I was quite satisfied with the room. Air conditioned. The staff were friendly and helpful however their english was a little average.
The room i had was on the 3rd floor and possibly the furthest room away on that floor, so it was a bit of a hike from the main desk to the room and vice versa.
Plenty of good eateries in the immediate area, and a huge outdoor food court almost opposite, however i think this only operates certain night a week. Live music and great atmosphere.
Markets aplenty each evening all up and down the street to Loi Croh Rd.
My room window overlooked a large car park at the rear of the building which was very busy each evening with people attending the nearby Mosque. Whilst this was relatively quiet, probably my only real criticism of the place/location would be it's close proximity to the Mosque.
Personally i am a light sleeper. At about 3.30am the Mosque started blasting prayers from a loudspeaker. The mosque is probably 100 meters from my room. All racial BS aside, i dont have a problem with this, but its not conducive to a good nights sleep. Had i had a room facing the main street, its possible the noise from the speaker may have been significantly less. I only stayed 2 nights and moved to another hotel. No other complaints.
A neat tidy hotel in a good area with lots to see and do.

This was my 1st hotel in the city of Chaing Mai. I booked it at the airport through the tourist desk, so had no expectations. The hotel is located in a largely middle eastern neighborhood, with a mosque next door, but do NOT let that put you off. The people are as friendly and welcoming as any others in Chaing Mai, if not more so for being slightly off the beaten tourist track. The food is as brilliant as anywhere in Thailand, but more diverse with the addition of some middle eastern staples. The street in front turns into one of the night markets after six which is a plus. All the normal tourist goods plus some extra gems thrown in as well. The only thing holding back a 5 star rating(for the price range. Don't expect the Waldorf Astoria on this budget), is the building is slightly "odd". Lots of corridor twists and turns, my room only had windows above my head(I'm 6 foot 4 inches), and is probably actually a union of what at one time was multiple buildings. But the rooms were in good order, actual shower instead of a "wet room", and everything was extremely clean with a staff that was always helpful. The breakfast was a miss, but that seems to be the one meal all Thailand seems to struggle to get "right", by western standards. A muay Thai gym on the 2nd floor was a surprise, and seems to be run by an ex pro fighter of some decent reputation.

Over all, great value for money. Introduced me to the Muslim population in Chaing Mai, which turned out to be a real bonus. Will not hesitate to use this hotel again.

This was my second trip to Chiang Mai for my wife and I, but the first for the other 6 members of our group. Night Bazaar Place was the first for us all. To know we stayed at the center of it ALL was excellent. No other word to describe this place except for LOCATION, LOCATION and LOCATION.
Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.

Room Tip: Rooms on the second floor facing the back have top hung windows only. Avoid if possible.

The room is standard, but overall it needs to be renew already, but believe me this hotel's location is one of the best for foods lovers and night markets. In the morning you can just skip the breakfast and try Thai's congee just a few steps outside the hotel. It's so delicious.

Room Tip: The vinnyl floor near the lift should be replace cause it made annoying sound evertime you walk through.
