Spectacular mountain side image but little else to see. Stay clear of Silverlake Grill, expensive and poor quality food

Bit touristy but worth the visit, try and go with a local who can explain some of the rituals

“Not sure why I went”
Reviewed 11 January 2012

This is definateky not a day out. However if you are visiting silverlakes it is worth a stop. Do not go into grassy areas if you do not like snakes. by the by snakes only attack if you corner them.

“Tranquil.”
Reviewed 11 January 2012

First, you have to either enjoy Buddist temples, or at least be curious and respectful when visiting one. This is not the 'best' temple we have visited, but it is well worth climbing the stairs for a look.
Ladies... when you visit a temple in Thailand, please make sure you have shoulders covered, and legs covered to just above the knee.. no boob tubes, skimpy shorts or halter tops.. you will be politely asked to stay outside!
