I nearly always stay at the Amari when in pattaya but decided I need to try some other hotels. This hotel is brand new and only a few minutes walk from the Amari.
The rooms are spacious and the bathroom big.

The hotels main selling point is the fantastic view of the beach from the roof top pool. For the price i would definitely stay here again.

Room tip: Pay slightly more and get rooms facing the sea

This is a very nice hotel in a reasonable location. The main beach is a short walk and the main strip and shopping centres are easy to get to on a songthaew (pickup/bus), for around 10-20b. The view was fantastic, especially from the infinity pool, than spans the length of the building, long enough for laps. The room is very nice, could do with some more furniture, like a second chair or side table to put things on, but overall the hotel is in excellent condition (new) and for us no problems at all, very friendly and helpful staff too. The only downside I would say for us was the huge floodlights that are used to light up the beach at night, this isn't the hotel's fault, it's just right there. But, there are very thick and dark curtains to help light sleepers cope with this.

Good new absulutely modern hotel. We took a sea view room with bath tub. pricing reasonable.

positive :
1) absolutely new
2) located on soi 5 beach road -just 1 min walk from the sea.
3) staff very polite and speak good english
4) nearby-familymart, seven eleven and massage parlours
5) awesome rooftop infinity swimming pool with three sides glass overlooking the ocean-perhaps the best in pattaya.
6) no food -drink service in pool after 6 pm

cons :
1) toilet : big but no sepearte shower area , you have to take a shower in the bath tub and no shower curtain. after complaining they immediately put a shower curtain but i think there is some technical fault --water still spills out in the toilet floor so be cautious--one of my guest slipped and fell n the toilet.

2) no balcony

3)they do not provide body lotion
4) there is no full mirror anywhere
5)no seperate charging points
6)they do not provide irons for ironing clothes
7)toilet vent not very proper
8)rooms - a bit small

but overall good experience --if they overcome these small issues it can be a very good hotel.

Room tip: ask for higher floors --sea view

The Seven Zea is a new cozy, chic and beautiful property.
The view from our sea facing room was amazing. The pool on the roof top has the most amazing view. Although we had a small issue with the language, overall it exceeded my expectations. I didnt get the authentic red thai curry that i was looking for but the staff made up for it by arranging for our travel to the gem store and the crocodile park.
