A perfect place to rest, dine, sleep and leisure. Located in the center of pattaya town and yet just beside the beach. The front part of the hotel is the main road where you can choose all kind of local and international cuisines while the rear side as you walk pass the swimming pool is the wide and sandy beach.
The hotel is desined in such a way that you are in a tropical forest and yet in the middle of a leisure town.

We were there for a business meeting for three days in 2010.
The best part is that it is amazingly centrally located, the place has beautifull ambience amazing swimming pool etc.
Its next to the Ripleys musiem and a centrally located mall.
Just infront of the hotel one can get a tuk tuk which is a cool transportation to see the whole of Pattaya.
Near to the hotel are other palce like shooting point etc
Beach is on the other side but is on a walking distance

Our room was on the 7th floor - had an amazing view - of the beach (which really is a very narrow tiny strip) and the sea (whch is beautiful). The rooms are plush, breakfast was fantastic - with lots of fruits, continental and Asian fare.

The location too is good - close to all the attractions - walking street, tiffanys, two shopping malls - including the "central" mall.

All in all, a splurge, but worth it.

Stayed at the Marriott for more than a week in Dec 2010.

It is located in a very chaotic part of the city and even though it has a small walkable access on the back side leading to the beach, this particular section of the beach is not a good choice for families

The reception are of the hotel is very large and comfortable. This and the huge swimming pool are the best part of the hotel.

The rooms are large. However they are ageing quite fast and it is showing very clearly in the bathroom and shower areas.

The restaurants are quite costly and are not value for money. There are umpteen options in the next door Royal Garden plaza as well as the beach road for anyone to be worried.

The biggest drawback for the hotel is the pricing. It is not value for money and you can get much better hotels for a similar or lower price in Pattaya.

As written by most of the travelers the hotel is located just in the center of action within walking distance to the - Walking Street.
A shopping mall is attached to the hotel which makes life easy and also there is a 24hrs minimart opposite to the hotel. Pool is great.
I was totally dissappointed with the rooms and looked very old.. It was smelly, bathroom was not upt to the Marriott standards.
The cutleries were outdated and had a hard time cutting the meat.
Staff were very curteous and helpful.
Well anyways you are in Pattaya to enjoy the night life and be outdoors and so if this doesnt bother you then a good place to stay.
