Description: Little Mango is a small but cosy restaurant with western and thai food. The prices are very resonable. Ken, owner, is a very kind host for his mostly western crowd.

Cheap restaurants normally feel just that - cheap. This one was very cheap BUT the food was great. We also were delighted to try home made Lemon Cello. Fantastic at only 30 Baht a shot.
We only have two days left in Pattaya, I wish we had of discovered this place two weeks ago.

I was handed a leaflet by the proprietor, Ken, whilst sitting on the beach, so I went and had a look.

Sunee Plaza is not for the faint hearted and is the more run down and tacky gay area of Pattaya. The Little Mango, however, is not on the dodgy side straight but further down the main road. You can walk there from Pattaya in 5 minutes and you take the road that runs along the side of the VC Hotel. Just walk in a straight line and you'll see the restaurant on your left after about 3 minutes.

The menu is varied and covers western and Asia plates. Soup is complimentary with a main course, Food is ample and fresh and the staff are attentive and helpful, if not chatty.

You can eat well for around 300-350 baht and the atmosphere in the restaurant, which has quasi outdoor seating is pleasant

They serve good Thai food, chicken cashewnut, fried basil leave, fried asparagus with oister sauce etc. If you are into Western food, they have chicken, pork, beef etc, all cooked well and good portions.

The Little Mango looks like nothing at all from the outside, but has an amazingly varied menu of European and Thai food. The menu is more in keeping with a 100 seat restaurant, than this tiny eating place in south Pattaya.
There are 4 course menus of Thai and European food - with any of the main courses from the menu - plus tea or coffee to finish. All this comes for under US$10.- per head.
All of the dishes are cooked to order and the Thai food can be ordered mild, medium or hot!
Drinks are available the house wine is South African, a big improvement on the usual local red wine!

I first visited Pattaya in 1980 and have rarely missed a year since then. Like a lot of people my evening starts with a good dinner and there is no better place to indulge yourself than Little Mango's.

It is located at the end of soiVc, 100 meters or so from Sunee Plaza. Its best to get there around 8pm or so because its a very popular eating place, and there are only limited tables.

When you get there you will be invariably be greeted by the Owner Ken, he's a most genial host who is capable of making even first time visitors feel like a long lost friend, and his friendly attitude is reflected by his staff.

The menu caters for all tastes, I particularly like their Chicken Cordon bleu, but they also do wonderful fish dishes.

To sum up: Little Mango's is the kind of place that whatever you have experienced during your stay in Pattaya, eating there will be one of your most enduring memories.
