This is a lovely place to visit. We caught the cable car both ways. There are lots of tourists and many do treat it like a 'Disneyland' experience but it is still a peaceful place. Just enjoy the experience and ignore the chaos around you. It's great to be able to talk to the monks and take time to breathe in the fresh air, beautiful flowers and lovely views.
From the temple you can walk down to them made dam(lake). It can be a little tricky to find. Instead of walking up to the temple on your right walk past the entrance shop and through the motorbike parking area on the left. The path leads to the lake.
We didn't take a boat ride. I can see that others who have reviewed this temple loved the lake but I found it a bit ugly. It's nice to get a coffee from the tiny cafe on your fright as you walk down and enjoy the lake view from there. The lake looks better from a distance.

Understanding that DaLat is a popular holiday destination for Vietnamese locals you'll forgive the crowds here and appreciate why they've separated the 'touristy' temple from the main monastery. The highlight was getting the cable car to it.

We chose to go in by cable car. The view was superb, you may see panaroma view of Dalat city. After we reached the highest point of cable car and descending, the view with lake is awesome!!
As rain was pretty heavy during our visit, we barely visited the temple, garden and the nearby lake. we were too cold to stay and soon took a cable car back. There is a hotpot buffet restaurant at the cable car terminal starting point. It was nice to have a hotpot in cold weather with dalat city view but we just had lunch and so we skipped it.

Release from noisy daily life by the combination of Flowers, Views, Trees, Religion, etc.
Let come on formal days ( except 1st, 15st, 30th in lunar calendar), because it is crowd at that days.
