My boyfriend and I stayed in Hanoi during Tet festival for 1 week. We had lunch there for 3 times. The beef noodles were tasty. Many local people had meal there as well. This is one of the places you have to go if you stay on Hanoi.

This restaurant is very small and crowed. You need a tour guide or a Vietnamese friend to take you to this place. They serve only 2 things: pho and quay. Quay is yellow sweet cake made by flour and it is crunchy. You should try it with pho, it is very good. Different from normal pho restaurants in Hanoi, at pho Thin restaurant, they sell pho with fried beef, not boiled one so the taste is very special. This restaurant is very popular and crowed so you should go in the early morning.

Straight forward pho served up snappily in a busy vibrant local restuarant. Hint of garlic as the beef is fried with some. Vegetables, noodles, beef and stock is all in there all that is left for you to do is add the chilli and line at your discretion and cosy up with whoever is sharing your bench and table whilst you scoop it up with your chop sticks and spoon

My friend said that it's the best pho in Ha noi so I came here and I didn't regret. The broth is very flavorful. A must try in Ha noi, especially in the winter time

Our tour guide told us this tiny restaurant had the best pho bo in Hanoi and I agree! It's a funny little place where they sell 2 things - bowls of pho for 50,000 VND and a cruller-type bread. We didn't know about the bread so we didn't ask for it. You pay your 50,000 dong and then look for a seat at one of the long, family-style tables. Although you could miss it if you blink, it's very crowded with locals and some tourists. Rich broth, plentiful beef, noodles and chopped green onions make for a delicious soup. It's well worth a visit.
