I had an egg coffee and later also ice cream with fruits. Egg coffee was very delicious, best I've had in Vietnam. But I have to say about the atmosphere and great view. Try to get one of balcony tables. Owner was very welcoming and nice, also her family was spending time at the cafe. I spent some time talking to owner's grandkinds, playing cards and all with great view and nice coffee.

Tiny little balcony to sit, sip surprisingly lovely coffee while overlooking the lake. Not a good entry and looking dirty on the way up, but my coffee was good.

Thank nogle

Warm greeting at front of house, coffee usual fare for Hanoi, toilets quite unusual in that one has to use the facilities in the cafe food preparation area, no place to wash hands as sink full of washing up, unusual set up even for Hanoi, nice balcony though, lovely monitor lizards on display in small glass tank for ones enjoyment.....great?

After being disappointed at some of the "best of" cafés in Hanoi (Dinh, Wannawaffle etc.) we happened upon this place as we were walking around Turtle Lake and looked up to see a tiny, welcoming balcony with wooden chairs. Access is, as usual, over a dirty back stair, but inside, the place is absolutely exquisite. The egg coffee was delicious and most beautifully decorated...highly recommend this to anyone who prefers a lovely quiet ambience with their coffee.
