We ate at a different location - there's a ton of these in Hanoi! The first time we attempted to go to the red bean, we showed up at 11pm and it was already closed, so crossed the road and went to this place.

Their fried spring rolls (pork) were AMAZING. Seriously. I don't know what they do to make them sooooo goood. We stayed not far, so every time we felt like a snack we popped over for these - never disappointed.

Meals were nice enough - nothing to rave about. Staff were helpful. Beer came out only a little cold, like it had been in the fridge for 10 minutes so went hot and undrinkable very quick.

Great place to sit and watch the craziness of the Old Quarter, especially from their balcony. Prices are very good, but the food is nothing to get excited about. I recommend it for beers, but suggest you'd be better off eating elsewhere.

This is a absolutely fantastic restaurant for all budgets during your tour of Vietnam. The food was fantastic to the fact we ate there for 2 consecutive nights of our stay. It is in a great location in the old quarter. They have a happy hour that lasts all day. A must visit. The furniture and interior is amazing and staff so friendly and helpful.

We had been walking around the West Lake and wondered into this place by accident. It was good to sit upstairs outside and watch the chaotic street life. Beer was cheap and the gin and tonics were well made. We just had fried rice, the menu is simple, but decent value for money given the location, it certainly isn't fine dining, but it's a great place to take a load off and watch the world go by.
