I stayed 2 nights in a single private room and 1 night in a dorm as the private room was sold out. The dorm is fine and very clean, though the common toilet isn't that great and it lacks privacy (duh).
I was very impressed by the single room, however. It was so spacious and they really maximised every inch despite the room size being only 16sqm (it felt much bigger). The bed was comfortable, I loved how the sink was outside the bathroom instead of inside, and all amenities were provided.
I also adored the cosy and warm vibe of the room -- something that was lacking in all the other places I stayed during my 2 weeks in Vietnam.
Breakfast was delicious and the variety was sufficient.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The receptionist gave many recommendations for food and local dining spots.
I'm not particularly fond of the location though. While I appreciated the quietness, there weren't any convenience stores or worthy food places on the same street. Not very far to Ben Thanh but not very near either.
Nevertheless, I really loved the room and it was very value for money.More
