Buildings and gardens are surely beautiful and worth visiting. Make sure to get a guide as they have good English and share pretty interesting and insightful facts and customs of Thai people and royal family.

The palace is comprised of many buildings and gorgeous flower gardens. The thrown room is the most spectacular building but tourist are not allowed inside and no photograph taking allowed. You can look in through the door. This is a must visit. Other buildings exhibit royal clothing, statues of Buddha

A beautiful and large complex of beautiful pagoda like temples which make up this Royal palace. Nice with a guided tour.
The central pagoda with the actual throne in was stunning but you were not allowed to take photos of it or enter in to the room which was a shame but understandable.

It was nice to visit this place, but I came when they did the renovation so I couldn't really get the whole view well. But still will recommend to visit.

This is a magnificent complex of spacious buildings of beautiful architectural design, in the unique Cambodian style. It is a huge walled complex with beautifully tended gardens and neatly hedged grass lawns that make it a really enjoyable pleasure to walk through. We couldn't get inside the Palace itself as that is till a private residence, home to Cambodia's bachelor king. But there are many other delightful buildings dotted around the extensive grounds which never felt crowded. Going into some of the buildings was occasionally bothersome when there would be a swarm of noisy tourists who didn't seem to think that there was a need for some decorum. Well, that's my opinion!! Sothearos Road, outside the palace complex, is apparently often referred to as Phnom Penh's Champs d'Elysee -- the old French influence??
