The staff make this hotel! Amazingly friendly people who were always interested in what you had been doing & exploring in their city. Special thanks to the lady at Reception & Skybar area – didn’t manage to get her name unfortunately, but she was great in every way.

The Frangipani is a smaller hotel in a great location right next to the Palace & a minute or so walk from the Riverfront. Small, but very nice, pool on the rooftop with a sky bar overlooking the river & sunset. Both nice ways to end a day in Phnom Penh.

Stayed in a Royal Palace Balcony Suite which overlooked the Palace Grounds with a small private balcony. Corridors were very hot which was probably the only downside.
Big plus is that you can top up your drinking water in the foyer!

Room Tip: book a room with a balcony

The location of this hotel is it's major point, it's right in the heart of the royal surroundings of Phnom Penh. We had a balcony view which over looked the royal palace which was beautiful. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Only a short tuk tuk ride away from the central market.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Royal Palace!

Recently stayed here on our Cambodian holiday. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had dinner and drinks at the Roof Top Bar, it had amazing views and looked beautiful at night. Food was great too. Rooms were clean and a good size. This place was close to many restaurants and markets around the area. Would stay here again.

Impressive exterior but interior dated and in need of upgrading . Room was average size bathroom definitely dated . When you still use a key to unlock your door you know how outdated everything is . With no air conditioning in the halls can be a bit stifling
