Room was okay, clean and tidy with a bit of road noise.
We had access to the club lounge which served nice nibbles.
Not in downtown but tuk tuk was only a few dollars.
Breakfast was good. Had dinner in hotel restaurant, very nice but a bit slow bringing meals.
Staff were great, always happy to help and make sure you had what you wanted.

Stayed: January 2017, travelled as a couple

Stayed there during a 2-days breakfast. Hotel style is quite old but everything is functional. Internet is a bit slow though. Conference services ok. Food was great. Rooms are big enough and I could not hear any noise from the street.

"Sabaidee" - This is the very first greeting that I'd receive when I step through the doors of this hotel. I'd stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. This property is just 10 minutes drive to and from the airport. A walk to the city center took me about 30 minutes. But if you want, the hotel provides transport service for a fee.

The room was well kept and the general areas in the hotel was clean. The wifi was also working fine. I stayed on level 4. It faced the road but was only occasionally noisy at night. Ironically, the noise came from the A/C and it was not as cold.

The restaurant serves both local and western fare for breakfast. The pool was good for soaking your stress away.

This Mercure is a clean, friendly hotel about a 10 minute walk out of town. Well appointed spacious rooms, with gym and (unheated) pool. Attentive staff, food fine, dinner and a reasonable breakfast selection. The Mekong is a short 5 minute walk away.

Room Tip: Ask for one at the rear overlooking the pool
