Always loved Mongolian bbq and this place doesn’t disappoint - friendly, fun and good value. Yes, there are hoards of tourists coming through so you won’t get the ‘locals’ experience but it’s straightforward good old fashioned food and nice and casual. Staff were great also

The restaurant makes you feel you have entered a new place where not only the serving but also the cooking is the star. The logistics is very easy: you select the meats you want, the side vegetables and items to go with them and a combination of sauces of your likes, and the cook will prepare them while performing some nice show. Ever wondered what would happen if Circe du Soleil were to have your meal done? Maybe you should check DB's!. And of course, the taste and variety will make you feel happy and satisfied.

Mongolian barbecue usually means you just pick you stuff in a bowl and the chefs would stir fry it up for you in the huge hot plate.
However this store has quite a lot of cooked food. In particular, I liked the lamb in the soup, which was soft and tender.

About the line for barbecue, there are suggestion cards but these are often too simplified to 3, 4 ingredients, so for most people who can only eat 1 or 2 plates of these, it maybe better to not follow these cards, and just get as many ingredients as you want.

After seeing the chef fry it up (notice the skill of cracking the egg open and throwing away the shell without leaving bits) the food is not really yummy, they just all taste the same or kind of overcooked (as the chefs have to fry up 10 bowls at a time).

They do sing happy birthday with you and turn off the lights instead of dim the lights.

So definitely recommend the cooked food counter, but do try some stir fry.
Dessert was ok too but nothing particular special. Fun place though.
