Very modern square, was surprised when I saw it. Beautifully done, with Genghis Khan overlooking the square. Very clean and well laid out, building around the square are fabulous.

Ghengis Khan square includes the monument to the great man and the Sukhbatar monument. Lots of important government buildings also face on the square. This is a popular place for locals and foreigners to come and hang out. There's an open air market and vendors renting bicycles (even 3-person tandems) and power wheels for kids. The statues are really impressive.
