We stayed here twice during our Central Asia travels. We chose it because it was close to both the train station and the airport. Rooms were clean and spacious. Air con was good (didn't notice that it was noisy as stated by a previous reviewer.) Good plumbing. I don't remember the beds being hard (also as stated by a previous reviewer) though I had been sleeping on the floor in homestays in Tajikistan before I came here. Breakfast was good, and they cooked eggs to order for me and made me breakfast before an early morning flight. Reception was very helpful, letting us leave a bag between our stays, arranging taxis, doing laundry, changing money at a good rate. They also sent us directions to give to the taxi driver so he could find it as the hotel isn't well known. Another great thing about this hotel is that it is right down the street from a good restaurant, Pasado, which serves excellent international food which we appreciated after two weeks of homestay sketchy meat and onions. We enjoyed being in a neighborhood as opposed to a commercial area. My only caveat is to avoid the one room on the ground floor as it is much smaller than the other rooms upstairs.More
