We spent 4 nights at Tulip house this November. It was our second time visiting Istanbul. The guesthouse is really centrally located, just a few steps from the main square of the Blue Mosque in Sultanahmet. We were given the basement room, which to be honest, could have done with a bit more cleaning. Towels were ok as well as the sheets, but the floor was a bit dusty, the TV was just a screen fixed in the wall and the furniture a bit old and again a bit dusty. The terrace advertised was not a rooftop terrace but a ground floor garden. You can see the sea only if you go outside the breakfast area. Breakfast is ok, although the coffee served is Nescaffe instant coffee rather than espresso or turkish coffee (for those who would prefer the last two). All in all, it could have done with a bit of renovation in terms of furniture, although I guess it makes up for it given its location and affordable price.

Room Tip: Do not opt for the ground floor rooms (if you have a choice that is :)

We stayed at Hotel Tulip House for 3 nights at the end of November. All staff there was always very helpful in every aspect. We had a double with balcony overlooking the Bosporus and some mosques, very beautiful. Our room was very clean as was the bathroom with a brilliant shower, big soft towels and also a hairdryer. The breakfast was plentiful and a good variety of turkish and western food. All in all we had no complaint s whatsoever and when in Istanbul again we will surely stay in Hotel Tulip House again.

Room Tip: Best rooms are definitely the ones with balcony.

Stayed there twice - once at the start of our trip and once at the end. Booked this after reading amazing reviews on TA - as always. The place matched every one of our expectations. Sadly, we didn't stay in the rooms actually - but were put up next door at art city - both times because of early and really late arrivals :). But they were apologetic and gave us a free ride to the airport for the troubles.
Art city's rooms were very good - so I am not complaining at all
We still had breakfast here - which was quite a spread and the best during our stay at turkey. We also used the facilities and hung out with the staff
Staff - Ni , very friendly and helpful and the best :).
Would love to come back again and actually stay in the rooms :)

We spent four nights in Istanbul and we very much enjoyed this hotel. It's very close to the Blue Mosque (~200 meters). Staff is amazing, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very diversified and very tasteful. The biggest drawback is the location, actually streets that lead to the hotel that are really safe but kind of dark and scary, especially if you're walking alone.

Room Tip: It's worth paying a bit extra for a standard double room because you can end up having budget double room in the basement.

you get the best service, you feel like home.
I truly appreciated their help in any matter, the rooms are great,, especially the ones with sea view.
The breakfast was full of variety.
Internet connections is for free.
It is in one of the best locatins in Istanbul.
