The chef Murat Bozok boasts to have been trained in Michelin starred restaurants. I seriously doubt it. Here is the report:
* Decoration: wobbly table, stained cutlery, tables too small and too close to each other, stream of wind very annoying.
* Food: An extremely poor menu (only 2 starters, 4 main courses, and 2 desserts). Bread: only 1 kind: a kind of focaccia, not the brightest we have eaten.
Amuse-bouche supposed to prove the "creative" skills of the chef was a celery soup served in an expresso cup. Could not imagine of a duller and worse presentation for an amuse-bouche.
Starter: a risotto of wild rice and spinach. Again extremely dull and average dish you can find in any Italian restaurant in town.
Main course: plain seabass accopanied by half cooked and cold carrot and fried potato. The fish was well done though. And a lukewarm entrecote with some vegetables, I could not recollect for my wife.
Dessert: 1 of the 2 desserts was not available. We got the chocolate: 2 tweaks of chocolate ganache and 1 tweak of fruity cream. That's it.
Service: extremely slow, although the restaurant was half empty (not surprisingly). We asked for room temperature water but we were served icy water once the 1st bottle was over. Our glass (of wine and water) were not refilled, we had to ask the waiter.
Overall, we paid more than USD100 per person, I think this was top 5 worst dinner I have ever eaten.
