Very tasty and reasonably priced restaurant on the Galata Bridge. Efes beer, delicious meals and seafood, excellent service. In fact, we'd stopped there by chance, but after it we met sunsets in Istanbul just there and nowhere else.

The row of eateries under the Galata Bridge is extremely crowded and noisy. But this one is quite different: first the outside seats are placed so that we could watch the water. A cold drink along with a hotly prepared anchovy dish can be a superb way to end one hectic tourist's day.

This is your place when you want to drink Efes draught beer and smoke great nargile. By the river the outlook is beautiful. But not the cheapest place in town.

If you want to talk to other customers or think that may happen, I suggest to avoid this restaurant. My mother and I enjoyed the food and the view and were having a great dinner when another male tourist sat next to us and asked us what beer he should order. We talked about this simple question, and had a nice short conversation. Suddenly 2 waiters came over and told him he needed to move to a table away from us and that it was "against the law in Turkey for customers at a restaurant to talk to each other." The man had not yet ordered anything and got up to leave. The waiters tried to pressure him into staying and moving to a different table. The man then left, and we simply asked another customer near us, "is this really true?" The boss himself came over and began yelling with the other man about talking to us and almost kicked the 2nd man out. This "boss" was about 30 years old yelling in the face of a 60-year old customer of his who was simply trying to explain to us American tourists what the hell had just happened. The entire time this "boss" never even made eye contact with us, two women, and never offered an explanation. He only sent his waiter over to say "I don't speak english, I don't speak english, he says it is against the law." - I have asked multiple Turkish citizens after this and searched on the internet and there is NO law. It seems this "boss" is simply an arrogant misogynist who wanted power. I recommend avoiding this restaurant and will never return here.

This resturant is located on the lower level of the Galata bridge with amazing views of Istanbul especially at sunset. We had tea and food platter. Here is my review:

Pros:
1. Amazing location and views
2. Average food at best

Cons:
1. No WiFi
