In old city center of Sultanamet, few hundred meter from both Mosc Blue & Sofia. Totally renovate building with modern facade but internally, ottoman decoration was a bit too much. In the rooms as well, gold every where. All was comfortable. Pity that no real view only on building few meter beside and staff quite aggressive. The Brakfast view from Terrasse was the unique exception I could mention, breakfast itself quite average.

Room was moderately sized with a tv and mood lighting! all clean and you could definitely say the hotel has personality.
went with my boyfriend for a romantic weekend break and was not dissappointed with the location - perfect walking distance to everything you want to see, along with central to cute local restaurants and bars, turkish delight shops and baklavaries.
the hotel staff were lovely and helpful when we asked typical tourist questions and although some other londoners may have thought the decor was a little strange we thought it was charming. breakfast and afternoon tea was also complimentary which was amazing after a long day of shopping or exploring the local area.
on top of all this, the terrace from breakast is STUNNING and has a panoramic view of the bospherous.
really lovely visit overall! could not reccomend this hotel more.

The hotel is absolute fantastic and the personal is very welcoming. My room was amazing!! I had a suit room on the top floor and the highlight was the absolute breathtaking view of the Bosporus and Hagia Sophia from the balcony. The sound proofing in the room was excellent - no sound from outside the room at all. Comfortable bed. Bathroom and facilities were really good.Reception was efficient and never too busy. Perfect location. Finally got what i paid and such a great value for money and even more, plus i got an update on the room as well. The view, the room, the breakfast was fantastic. Enjoyed the sunrise and just beautiful to look out on the Blue Mosque and sea from the rooftop terrace while having breakfast or a drink. It couldn't be better. I was so satisfied with everything! This was the best choice i made. There is no better hotel in Sultanahmet then Golden Horn. I would give more then 5 star for Golden Horn*******

we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights first, then another night after 2 days. the first room we got was not very appealing, did not feel clean. however the 2nd room was much better, bed was better, room felt cleaner, though their sizes were the same. the good part about the hotel is they give you a cellphone with 4g which can be used as a hotspot and to make local calls. the breakfast was average.

The quiet location close to the famous sites of Constantinople (now Istanbul) is ideal and the trams run nearby.
The top terrace overlooking the Bosporus is sensational.
The hotel has an authentic Turkish feel.
