This is one of the top spots in Sultanahmet and Istanbul. There is a lot of security around it but it is still a beautiful and historical location in Turkey.

One of the most famous tourist areas in Istanbul, as well as a popular meeting point. The area is very impressive tourist zone of the Sultahnamet neighborhood on the Historical Peninsula that leads to all historical sites that includes Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. Once being a Byzantium hippodrome, including Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column, and the Colossus.

It's a really pleasant place in Istanbul with beautiful views around. It's hard to imagine that many centuries ago this place once used as a hippodrome. You can see three obelisks and many interesting waypoints are in walkable distance

With some of the most Iconic architecture of the city located with this place, it was a great spot to visit and take photos with the buildings as the backdrop. Highly recommended.
