The hotel is way below our standards.
Pros:
A good plus is the dinner: there is a wide variety of food, but beware! They are not prepared for gluten free food. Some friends of us had a really hard time getting some gluten free bread for breakfast. Last morning, they waited 30 minutes to get three crappy bread loaves...
Another plus is the position, very close to the Old Jerusalem.
Cons:
The rooms are dirty.
They are not cleaned each day and I believe they seldom receive a full cleaning. The toilet are not cleaned each day.
The carpet in the room might as well have never been cleaned. Ever.
The towels are dirty as well (hair, dust, other stuff).
The coffee mugs are cleaned by the staff in your bathroom, they're not even replaced after use (discovered this personally while waiting for my room to be cleaned at 4 pm).
The staff is not very kind, we were not used to it at all.
The room on the street side are super noisy, cause there is a lot of traffic, even at night. There is no real "noise insulation".
Bottom line: steer clear from it if you're used to 4 stars hotels by European standards.
