A mid-range, somewhat tired hotel. The rooms towards the pool are somewhat larger that the ones to the back. Of course, the higher rooms have better views, we stayed at the 4th floor towards the back, facing the roof of the parking and facing the stairs leading upward to the next street.
The hotel was built 1972, and it shows, e.g. stained carpet in the hallway, non-functional safe in the room and a tired bathroom. But it‘s clean and maintenance (bar the safe) seems to be good: other hotels this age are in worse shape.
The elevator situation mentioned in other posts didn‘t bother us (it seems like we hit days of low occupancy) and we took the (small) staircase during shabbes anyway. The hotel announced new elevators in the lobby to be coming.
We didn‘t eat at the hotel, so cannot comment on that. We did turn on the A/C briefly, but didn‘t like the smell and opened the window instead.More
