The downstairs was very interesting, but small- I am thinking that they are doing some renovating to bring more in?
The upstairs special exhibit on Inventions was interesting, but it was too interactive- more designed for older children than adults with the small movies- I thought they were clever, but too many of them.

A beautiful modern museum that would have certainly deserved a fifth star if a major part was not under renovations. The small exhibition explains well the life in Jordan and you can see the famous Dead Sea scrolls as well as the Ain Ghazal statues, some of the earliest representations of the human form. Entrance fee is 5JOD.

There was only a small exhibition on show the day I went here - but it has some interesting facts about Jordanian life - eg the very small amount of water used in comparison to other areas. There are some wonderful exhibits and promises of additional ones soon.

Well, other than the Dead Sea scrolls this museum has nothing to offer. The tickets are not very cheap and so I think for tourists this place is a waste of money and time!!

Interesting museum, better than expected, deals with many aspects of Jordanian past, present and future.
