Arrived in Beirut during the first warm weekend in Spring and enjoyed the sunny outdoor seating. The weekend was packed (and fun) so we went back on a quiet Monday, when we got special individual attention from the main chef, Fadi, whose parents live in Rome. As you might expect with his background, Pomodoro served excellent pizza and pasta; next door, at a restaurant by the same owner, Fadi has introduced sushi. For dessert, we lucked out and got his freshly made tiramisu. Wow.

An underrated Italian restaurant in Zeitouna Bay. Went there for dinner and was surprised with an over-attentive and friendly service, not so bad prices for a Zeitouna restaurant and amazing food. First the bread served was quite good we had to order a refill. I tried one of their alcoholic drinks and it was quite good also. We tried their lasagna and their breaded chicken and both were soft and tasty. Highly recommended

Really good food at an affordable price. Good service and the weather was awesome so we sat outdoors.

I'm an Italian food lover, this is why I'm picky when choosing and Italian restaurant! I've tried there salads, pizzas, pastas, and other dishes and desserts, and Pomodoro didn't fail...
I recommend for ones who are looking for good Italian food between above average and fine dining.

Very nice location and friendly stuff. The minestrone soup was a bit over salted and the salad was okay considering it's just greens mixed with avocado and artichoke. Nothing special!
