took a guided bike tour and went to main sites in downtown: Candelaria, chorro de Quevedo and up to the Casa de Simon Bolivar. it is a good and different way to get to this places avoiding car jams. Be careful with fast going cyclers that pass you at high speed

When I go for walks on Sundays In bogota I avoid ciclovia. It’s full of people who don’t know how to ride bikes and do dangerous things. I have been hit a few times. I don’t recommend it for young kids.

If you're here on a Sunday, this is an absolute must! It's great to have plenty of space to bike and be among so many other people!

I can not think of better way to see a city and Sunday mornings in Bogota are a great experience. Tomorrow will be my third Sunday and I have been able to easily rent a bike (about $10 for 3 hrs) at the Hilton, in La Candelaria, and in the north. The weather is a variable but the rain I have experienced has been light. Plenty of places to get juice or food along the root. The best part is to see so many people of so many ages enjoying themselves.
