reasonable price with Jacuzzi in the big bathroom, lots hotel supplies there even including essential for both men and women, shaving cream for men and several products for hair.
nice tv with surrounded sounds. room is soundproof. super quiet.
two pc in the room with free both cable and wifi.
helpful manager even gave the 'tour', ie introduction of the room.
free coffee and toast offered 24h a day.
free mini bar non alcohol drinks, refill everyday.
easy traffic, near subway, one stop to gangnam.

Korea friend says the area is 'entertainment', as we were their on their public holidays. nothing special was observed. only nearby there are a lot massages and Japanese restaurants.

Room tip: rooms seems very similar. as every room has free wifi and soundproof. no need to worry too much. btw, the window is actually like in a closet, with 'doors' instead of curtains.

After a long search for a hotel in Seoul, we picked this one because of the mostly positive reviews on TA. We found a good deal for seven nights on Agoda for a superior double room with breakfast ($780).
The hotel is located in an alley just behind Teheran-ro, about 200m from the Renaissance Hotel bus stop (bus 6703 from Incheon Airport). The hotel manager mailed us the directions, very easy to find. Subway Yeoksam about 5 mins walk, green circle line to tourist center is 36 minutes. Coex Mall is two stops away, Lotte World 5 stops. The surrounding area is packed with little shops, restaurants and CVS stores, all open 24h.
We arrived at 10AM, but the friendly lady behind the desk had a room for us already. We were given room 803, but the man who took up our luggage immediately told us that nearby construction work could give a lot of noise. If we had any issues with that, we could get another room. After a power nap, we realized that our 3 month old baby would have issues with this noise. I went to the reception, and with any hesitation our bags were transferred to a room on the other side of the hotel (705).
The room is spacious a had features not even found in hotels that cost four times as much: 52" plasma TV with HD Channels, PC with movies & internet directly connected to the TV, spa bath, rain shower, ... . Free WiFi with 30Mb up and down included. Also very clean, and new towels and sheets every day. Only thing missing is a closet, so we had to leave everything in our suitcases.
The staff is very helpful, and their English is good. They'll do anything to help you: choice of restaurant, call a taxi,... . They even helped us with our stroller in the lift.
The included breakfast is basic, but that is what they say when you arrive. It was enough to get us going, and Seoul has a million other places to get food and drinks cheaply. The mini bar in the room is restocked everyday with water, Cola and orange juice.
Bathroom is huge, and has everything you'll need. One strange thing, if you take a shower the entire bathroom floods. Spa bath is excellent, although the crane leaked a bit.
The only things that could make it better is to add a closet, and some more functionality on the AC. It's either (very cold) or just blowing air. During our stay there was lost of construction going on, some we had some noise in the morning.
Overall an excellent stay, due to the fantastic room and top notch staff.

Room tip: Get a street side room, they're quieter

We stayed at the Nox Hotel for 5 days in May 2012. The hotel is easy to find as we take the airport shuttle with the directions emailed to us by the manager. The hotel is walking distance to the subway and around the hotel you can find 24hrs convenience stores, cafe, street-side stall (at night) and resturants including 24hrs cafe and BBQ restuarant. Room is clean and comfortable. A few cans of beverages such as coca cola, orange juice is replenish each day in the mini fridge for guest consumption free of charge. The staff speaks good English and were all very helpful and friendly. On our arrival after an overnight flight, we asked one of the staff Mr. Lee for recommendation for a place for lunch that serves Korean noodles. Instead of just giving us directions, he accompanied us to the cafe which is about 5 mins away, recommended seasonal noodle dishes and even helped us order the food before leaving. We had a good lunch that day. Only downside is the travel to tourist attraction such as Myeongdong takes up to 30 minutes by subway across the Han River.

I stayed here for one night. The room is quite small and dark, but very clean. It is also technologically advanced, with two desktop computers and a very large Samsung LCD with an amazing sound system. There are many restaurants surrounding the hotel.

I would like to highlight here that the service is extremely good. The manager actually took us to the bus stand in the rain (so that we can use the hotel's umbrellas and he can take it back with him) and make sure we got on the right bus. I would stay here again, should I ever visit Seoul.

I stayed at the Nox hotel in Seoulinthe first week in May. Appears difficult to find ,however the manager ,Peter emailed instructions which were concise and easy to follow. The hotelis about 10mins from the subway, there are several sataions nearbye. The rooms are spotlessly cleanandhave all that you require. Fhe simple breakfast is more thamn adequate and you are able to get coffee at anytime. The staffparticularly peter and Paul(good Koean names haha)are so wonderfully helpful in any way you need. print maps give advice have another staff member show you to a Korean restaurant I recommend this hotel It's a fair price, but not cheap, well korea is not cheap.
