Loved the location of this hotel. Stepping out of the hotel, you're already at Myeongdong, across the 7-Eleven and a row of restaurants, shopping and currency exchanges. The room is small for 3 people, but we were only there for sleeping. There is a coffee maker, fridge and safe, which was a plus for the room. The concierge is super helpful and the other main reason I would stay at this hotel again. They're helpful with directions and very friendly. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the airport shuttle and 5 mins walk to the entrance to the Myeongdong Shopping arcade. The subway entrance is a little further, but can still be accessed through the Myeongdong Shopping arcade entrance. All in all, it was a great hotel to stay in, and the prices are reasonable for the location and service.

Hotel Skypark generally receives favorable reviews from travelers. I can believe that; the average traveler will probably like it. The location is great, the staff is friendly and courteous. So why do I rate this hotel "terrible"? The total inability to deal with a problem. I had a reservation for six days - prepaid. Because of bad weather our plane was late and the family had to stay overnight in Beijing. Chaos ruled; there was no way I could get a message to Skypark that we would arrive one day late. When we finally arrived we were tired, and had not eaten for a long time. This was apparently no concern of Skypark's. We only received one message: you have forfeited your reservation - go away. I did not ask for a refund for the night we had already missed; Skypark's position was that we had no right to stay the other five nights in a room that I had already paid for. The room Skypark had already rented to somebody else. After a very unpleasant argument lasting one hour, I finally said that I would go to the police. Only then did Skypark miraculously find a room - a much smaller room than I had paid for, mind you. So, the welcome was not great. The rest of the time the staff was all smiles and very helpful. I believe that unless you get delayed because of bad weather you will probably have a good time at Skypark. I, however, will never go near the place again.
