Funny when some say this residence is conveniently located, some say not. I was there a couple of weeks ago and I say no to the location because I'm a single traveler & I don't speak Korean. The first day was totally frustrating because the residence instructed me to get off the airport bus @the Kudo Hotel stop -- in reality, the bus announcement didn't say Kudo Hotel, it say "Best Western" and I only saw the Best Western sign and NOT a the Kudo Hotel sign from the bus!! I missed it and had to transfer using a taxi. The taxi driver was a very nice old man but he could not find Hyundai Residence even given the address. By the time I got there, it was already 7:00pm (I left the airport by 3:30pm). It was dark outside, there was no decent restaurants around, I could not find the subway station. It was a very old community with some printing houses and a wet market in the neighborhood. Not many people on the street at night, I found two and asked for directions but in vain due to the language barrier. I finally had dinner in a small local shop which was okay but my whole day was gone just to travel from Hong Kong to Seoul and to find the residence. Three days later, I went out to a not too far location (about 20 minutes taxi) and by the time I wanted to return to the Residence, the taxi driver refused to go after I shown him the address (in Korean). I could not understand why he refused to drive me back to the Residence, I could only guess that it's not an easy place to find. Then, I had a local friend from the South (the financial/commercial area) of Seoul come visiting me, she had trouble finding the Residence too. All in all, if you travel alone and if you like to go out at night (many shops and bars open until 4:00am), don't stay in this place. The rate I've got was not cheap, around US$110/night.
