“this deserves pit of your time at Giza.”

Reviewed 15 October 2015

the North Pyramid is as important as great Pyramids at Giza, built by Senefru of the 4th dynasty in Dahshur, about 30 km south of Giza. the location is special at the edge of the desert overlooking the valley.the huge size, the perfect burial chamber, the massive height, the calm spot where it exists and the charge free admission into the burial chamber make the visit worth it.

all the pyramids were for tombs of kings but after sometime the kings realized that pyrmids will actually incentivise people to disturb the dead due to nature of building & hence opted for below ground burials after the mykernos pyramids, this is one of the multiple pyramids, majestic (in ruins) from outside but a very small vestibule inside which is pretty much the same structure for all pyramids.visiting one is enough rest can be seen from outside.

Take the time to visit the Pyramids if your staying in Luxor. We took a ten hour overnight train to Cairo and spent two days touring the city which was fantastic. Employ your own tour guide, they're not expensive and they will take you everywhere of any importance.

Do you know that the world's wonders have been changed three times, and the Pyramids are included in each time.
The Pyramids are the oldest building in the humanity that is still built.
If you visit Egypt, you have to visit the great pyramids of Giza, which were built more than 7000 years ago
