Relax in this beautiful walled garden inn. Exotic flowers and birds. The rooms are nice and the staff treat you like family. The breakfast, included in your stay, is plentiful, and meals at least much or dinner are reasonable and delicious. There is even an afternoon tea and cookies! I never stay anywhere else.

Until I arrived at Amani Gardens, I had not idea it existed.
Tucked in the Westlands neighbourhood it is close to the Westlands metropolis but still distant form the hustle and bustle.
Rooms have no TV. There is a small library in the lounge next to the reception.
If you have children , they will enjoy a jungle gym, swings and slide. Adults can enjoy the tennis and basketball courts.

Our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Comfortable accommodations, beautiful setting and friendly service. The staff are personable and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. The food was great. We would recommend it for a quiet getaway and for families to enjoy with their children.

We stayed here a week ago, and the service by staff was horrible. It seems terribly overpriced for what you get. For $60 USD I was placed in a tiny room with a sink, a single child size bed, no screen on the window and no fan or AC, and a shared toilet. At 8 PM all staff retire, so you can't even get a bottle of water if you're thirsty. There is no alcohol or tobacco allowed on the grounds and the food items are incredibly overpriced. But, the garden is nice.

Amani Gardens is a small hotel in the centre of the city. It has beautiful grounds. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. If booking a room with two people the first person pays $80 US and the second person is $40 US. Breakfast is included. For an additional cost you can add lunch and supper. This is a great place to stay with young children. There is a jungle gym, swings, etc. There is also a driver on site to take you to various places in and around Nairobi for a fee. There is also a laundry room on site and they provide the detergent. Pretty good place to stay.

Room Tip: Choose a room in the two storey building facing the front - great view.
