The Finix Casino looks good, though inside more than outside; even so, it's pretty small for its content. Still one can easily get magnetized by the effect all the pool jars and poker tables have on you on this 24 hour lights of illusion. Mini-skirted waitresses give the gentlemen inside (and most of the players there are male) a nice feeling with free drinks on their tabloid plate, but in the end, walking through the joint from table to table, it is easy to see there are only losers in the casino. Since I like to keep my money, I quickly went outside again, but with an experience more on my list of life; thank you, Finix Casino.

Played poker there a couple of times, they promise you free taxi as a playing costumer but when it came to getting one to take me home it couldn't be done. They had me wait and wait then after 45 minutes and no answers as to when i would be driven home i gave up and called for one myself. It's an ok casino if you are staying in the area but there are much nicer ones in Nairobi so don't go out of your way to play there.

cosy atmosphere with friendly staff and management, variety of gaming machines, roullette and poker tables on ground floor. Mezanine floor has private poker tables as well as beautiful ambience with one of the biggest sea water aquarium. i would recommend to many

There is plenty of NLHE here, cash games most nights, tournaments on a Wed and Sun.

Cash games are often 10k buyin with 200/400 blinds. The games do occasionally get bigger up to 25k with 500/1000. I was told of bigger but didn't see it in my time here. The staff in the casino are very friendly and the game has a host and dedicated manager who will use social media to communicate and inform about games.

Tournaments were a 10k buyin with 5k rebuys and addons on a Wed, I didn't play Sunday.

There is wifi around the table and the drinks and food flow regularly.
Chips and quality of the building are good.
Dealers are a mixed bag, some much stronger than others, very few will ever discipline a player.

Main downsides are the shallow depth of play and the blatant collusion between a few people, it didn't even cause any shame when I caught them and asked them to stop -
"but he is my friend.. I don't want to bet vs him."
There is also a very common habit here of taking a long time to show your hand and even to insist on seeing the other persons hand when you know you have the best hand. These are both shunned practices elsewhere, when mentioned nothing was done about it and the regular in the game did not try to help. It was a frustrating game that with a few key tweaks would make it a dream location in Nairobi for Texas Hold'em.
