Overall rating could possibly be slightly 'above average" compared to other hotels in Nairobi where I have stayed. My bed was not that comfortable and the music on the pool-deck on the weekend goes on at top volume until 3 a.m - keeping me awake even on the 15th floor. However, it does reflect the happy vibe in this city, and if I was'nt getting an early plane, I would have joined in! The staff are all really great - friendly and efficient. The main dining room was about the same as elsewhere experienced in Nairobi - caring and friendly staff but they do need a bit more training to achieve international standards. No problems in the food, although being a standard breakfast and the evening menu being a bit restricted in terms of choice. I will go back again when next visiting Nairobi (normally stay 1 week per annum)

Room Tip: The weekend noise is generated at the pool-deck side - it may be quieter on the other side

Spent 1 night here after 2 days of flying. It's fine. Old, shabby, in desperate need of updating. Bathroom was very shabby and needed new shower curtain. Entire suite felt old and worn. Bed was hard and pillows were thin. Dined in the restaurant downstairs, food was good.

With over 150 clients a year we are always looking for reliable partners. Robert is most certainly that, from large buffets to the outstanding breakfasts, our clients are always super impressed to be staying in a suite. The bathrooms could do with modernising but they are all still very charming and it is definitely a hotel that makes you feel like you have landed in Kenya!

Room Tip: Some rooms are quite loud so ask for one not above the night club!

This hotel was just right for accommodating a large group of us who were out in Kenya for a week to walk, run or cycle in Rural kenya to release children from poverty. Loved the hotel and spaciousness of the rooms. Great selection of food. Definitely could have explored more of the hotel...I now know a great hotel in Nairobi to go to should I ever return. The only negative thing I can think of was the sound of the nightclub coming into the room...but for me this was a minor thing. For others, it was major.
