The rooms were very spacious, and the hot tub in each room was delightful. Breakfast was about a five minute walk but the dining area was large with a good variety of food. There needs to be at least one English speaking person at the front desk.

We were on a 10 day tour with Nexus Holidays. This was the first hotel we stayed in. The staff at the hotel did not speak english. The rooms were spacious, but had a smoky odor. The hotel was far from town (approximately 35 minutes) so the hotel restaurant was the only option for dinner after arriving the first night. Fortunately the quality of the food was excellent.

We stayed here the last night of our 15 day China tour, hotel is nice, rooms have private hot tub, sadly we did not have time to try it. Otherwise it was a standard upgrade hotel room. Seemed a little worn, it's north of the city, we had to eat at the hotel restaurant, Chinese of course, but it was good. The hotel is on the north side of town, no subway and no local services available within walking distance.

Room Tip: Our room did not have much of a view, need to ask for one, if there are any.

This hotel has huge rooms with an incredible large hot tub that sits in a separate room but inside your bedroom. It's an excellent hotel, super comfortable, clean and spacious. The hot springs facility is beautiful and gigantic, you can find any pool setting you like because they have hundreds of them! The three minor inconveniences are: the breakfast is served in a different building and it takes about 5 minutes to get to it but in the early morning it can be very cold depending on the season. The second inconvenience is that the Hot Springs facilities are a bit far so coming back late in the cold is not great unless you are well dressed. Finally, the hot tub in the bedroom is so hot that you need to wait at least a half an hour to get in after you fill it up, an hour is ideal. Oh, I forgot an important detail, if you are traveling on your own, this hotel is really far away from town, at least an hour drive from Beijing depending on traffic, so the location is not great but on the other hand, it's quiet and less polluted around it. There's no subway nearby so you will need to rely on taxi service. Alos, hotel staff does not speak English so you are on your own to get a taxi. If you are going with an organized tour you have nothing to worry about. Enjoy it!

The rooms are nice and spacious and yes we have a hot spring hot tub in that room and that was great! Location is not the best and for someone that's been to Beijing a few times that was fine with me because there are things you could do at the resort but if it's your first time and you want to do more things downtown then that would be hard because even though maps said that you could take a bus to the subway it still takes about an hour and 40 mins to get there and the bus stop is not easy to find since there's no signs that tells you where the stop is and to come back the same way is hard because the bus doesn't go back that way so you still end up taking a Taxi or Didi.

When we checked in there wasn't anyone that spoke English to help us so many of the things that would have been covered when you checked in wasn't, like where to go for breakfast? Breakfast was served in another building not downstairs like we thought and where the spa was at? The spa didn't have a sign either so we walked around looking for it and couldn't find it but later on someone told us where it was and it was in the building that says Hot Pot and KTV. Gee I wondered why I didn't bother looking in there? It would be great help if they had at least 1 person in the front to that spoke English.

Also during check in we had the door man take us to our room and I know in Asia we normally don't tip but the door man pretty much asked for it. When he was done taking us to our room he didn't leave and took money out of his own wallet to show us that we needed to tip him. We just got to China and didn't exchange money yet. The hotel doesn't offer money exchange and the machine they have didn't take my card. Still I managed to get something for him and then he left but I thought that was odd because that didn't happen to our other friends that came later that day. Not just that but after we checked in we stepped out for a few minutes and when we came back 1 of the workers came out of our room. When she saw us come back she was a bit shocked but then walked away. Then my mom realized that she left some money out and forgot to put it away since we just stepped out for a few minutes. She checked and she said that she thinks she's missing something but since it was her fault for forgetting to put it away we can't really do anything about it because even if we did no one would have understood us to help us and to be honest I can't remember the face of the lady that was in our room because everyone pretty much looked the same in their uniform. But we didn't know what she came in the room for since we just got there and thereand the room was already cleaned.

We got to check out the spa and it was huge! It had an outdoor and indoor pools. Also restaurant, hot springs, and VIP rooms. They have lockers for you to put your things in and places for showers. And some of the staff there spoke English!

Breakfast was ok and the restaurant was big and nicely decorated. It was in another buidling that was about a 5 min walk from our hotel building.
