We lived in Tokyo for four years and found this place to serve less than average Japanese food. The service is professional and attentive as others have mentioned but when it came to the food we were very disappointed. We did not order any sushi as I am pregnant. We ordered the seared beef - it lacked flavor and needed to be seasoned, the chili squid - was light and spicy, scallops - cooked well but the shiso sauce did nothing for me and the miso cod - probably the highlight of the meal was good but we've certainly had better.

Bottom line - We will not return

Nicely located in the Pacific Place shopping mall the ROKA offers a great selection of Japanese cuisine other than Sushi. The Uagani hotpot is to die for!

Good Japanese food, well presented in a cosy and modern environment. A very convenient place when you don't want to think too much where to go when staying in one of the hotels nearby. Good service. Quite expensive for Hong Kong.

The open kitchen looks amazing! especially the grill bar, nice place to sit and see how the food is beautifully cooked. i ordered the california roll, some grilled fish as well as today special- fresh oysters, hkd20 for each, all of them tasted good. the waiters are attentive and the atmosphere is quite alive.
