The coffee tastes very good with pricing around 40-60HKD rather expensive. The atmosphere is great (decoration, music, overall feeling) but since the shop is very narrow it is not suitable for a group of more than 2 people. Due to people constantly passing through very closely not a relaxing atmosphere.

If you like something off the beaten path then you will love Halfway Coffee. In a little hidden alley way in Sheung Wan, you will find this little gem. It is small and narrow, but pack full of character.

I loved it because it has elements of the West and the East. Even though the menu itself is western, all their drinks are served in traditional inspired Chinese cups. Even their take away cups are printed in the traditional Chinese porcelain pattern. Even though they have a very small menu, they do it well. I tried their onset egg with smoke salmon on toast and it was delicious.

The cafe decor is a mismatch of different type of furnitures and crates, very shabby chic and definitely very instagrammable. To read more about Instagram worthy cafes in Hong Kong, please check out my blog post on equs.blog.

I have visited Halfway Coffee for its coffee and food twice. First time, I went there on a Sat. afternoon alone, to enjoy a cup of latte and its homemade lemon tart for tea. The lemon tart was a bit sweet to me, but came with a homemade ultra thin pineapple crisp which was great to go with the lemon tart and mango ice cream (also homemade locally, but not rich in mango taste). Latte was good; like its latte art and Chinese retro style cups. Tommy even showed me how to make the pineapple crisp. Knew him from f22 fotospace's coffee corner and got to know that he has made red dragon fruit crisp once too.

Came her for brunch with my husband on New Year's Day. Ordered a pecan salad with purple sweet potatoes, and a latte again. My husband ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and sourdough bread. Eggs were good and so was the toasted bread. Flat white also nice and aromatic.

Halfway Coffee is a nice cosy & friendly coffee place which coffee lovers will like to hang around. Try and you will understand.

Just stumbled in this cute little cafe.
Coming from Melbourne, Australia where the coffee is one of best in the world.
It was surprisingly a great quality coffee served in cute tea cups.
If you need a good caffeine hit... come and try

Had the breakfast and a cappuccino. The service is friendly and laid back. The coffee shop is quite narrow so do not expect big armchairs! However the food is good and slightly quirky. The coffee is good with a rich flavour and a good finish. It is great addition to the Sheung Wan coffee scene and worth a visit, to sit and enjoy your meal next to "antique" stalls of Upper Lascar Row.
