This is excellent modern hotel in a tranquil - yes tranquil - part of Hong Kong island. This shows you another side of Hong Kong. Accessibility is not a problem but its quite a long way from the airport or even the HK airport express station. But its worth it.
The advantage is more space, a luxury in HK, my room was huge with a well planned living room, 2 toilets, large bedroom and magnificent floor to ceiling windows allow the maximum impact of the view over the sea.
There is a lively bar, good buffet restaurant and small swimming pool. If you don't have to be in Central or TST is this the intelligent choice. After a busy day in the city its a wonderful retreat.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a sea view

Perfect hotel with great amenities located about 20 mins outside central Hong Kong island. Bus terminal right next door with buses leaving every 20-30 mins. (Although last bus in each direction was at about 9pm) Cab ride from Central sta to hotel was about 20HKD.(Less than 3USD)

Room was well appointed bed was great and the view was wonderful. Right next door was a supermarket and a Starbucks (Gotta have that Coffee Americano every day).

Two thumbs up to the concierge especilly Man! He went out of his way to advise and help us. He suggested printing directions in Mandarin and English which we could not have found our restaurant without it!!! He is someone the Le Meridien should be proud of!!

Shower in our room was comfortable, large and with the ability to view outside.

Don't expect to be near the city centre - the hustle and bustle is at least 15 minutes away by taxi. But what a great place otherwise! The hotel was contemporary, the staff friendly and helpful, and the room comfortable. I would highly recommend this place as a peaceful alternative to staying in the city, or for destinations along the far side of Hong Kong Island.

Room Tip: As for a sea-facing room - lovely views of sunset over the South China Sea!!

My initial disapointment of getting only a one level upgrade, yes I am spoiled, was quickly taken care of by a great view, fantastic personel. The platinum level benifits (unlimited bar usage, fantastic breakfast buffet, etc.) made me forget that I was not given a suite, not to mention the room itself with the magnificent view, two walls floor to cieling windows and a bathtub with a view. Willmsurely return should i be spending a weekend in H.K.

Stayed for couple of nights in August for a business workshop and while business wise its a great hotel, i won't recommend to those who are traveling to HK for leisure. Its far away from the city and if you want to enjoy night life and shopping, this isn't the hotel for you. Getting taxi was always the issue and it almost took me an hour and over 150 HKD$ to reach Hong Hom station. In terms of the hotel, it is one of the most tech friendly hotels out there. Spacious room & great views of the sea. Breakfast spread was better than lunch. Japanese restaurant in the hotel is average too. Overall, i would only choose this hotel if i am on a business trip near the area.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms facing the waterfront.

Dear qb76

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback; we are delighted to learn that you liked our hotel!

Our hotel is not only a great place for business and meetings, but the tranquil surrounding also brings you a truly relaxing enviornment as we are embedded in greenery and stunning ocean views. Transport to the city center only takes you 15 – 20 minutes and there are many tourist attractions nearby such as the Ocean Park and Stanley Market, which are within 25 – 30 minutes drive from the hotel.

We hope to welcome you again next time to experience a different side of Hong Kong!

Best wishes
