This is a great find; a small restaurant that seems to be always busy. It’s normal in there’s a good probability that you will share a table with someone. The dumplings are delicious and the restaurant is located just one to two minutes from the Central Escalator and is inexpensive to dine at.

A little gem, so good we went three times in our short sojourn in Hong Kong. Always busy, but service is fast so we never had to wait. Sharing tables with other diners is the norm, and the restaurant is not overly polished (which is fine, it felt authentic and local).

The dumplings are the star, so good it was hard to stop myself ordering twenty more. Other dishes are available, and these were good if not as great as the dumplings! Deep fried spring rolls were pretty damn tasty.

Great value as well, in addition to being one of the best meals we had, no mean feat in Hong Kong, it was also the cheapest.

Do yourself a favour and check it out.

Small, unassuming but delicious! We were in the area and wanted a quick bite - very busy so we sat with two other parties, including an expat from New York. He said we made a great choice as it is a central area fav for dumplings. The small kitchen is steamed up turning out a lot of food in a small space. Fresh, expertly made and delicious!

The food here was good. The restaurant was full and we were asked to sit with a couple at one of the six person booths because of how busy they were. They have vegetarian options and speak decent english. I think a more interesting experience than Mak’s noodle house next door which Lonely Planet recommends. My only complaint is the staff yelling throughout the meal. Mayne it was just uncomfortable to my soft American ears but worth noting. All part of the experience and I would go back.

We totally stumbled into this place, and regretfully could not find it again the next day as we could not remember the streets that led us here.

Our sole experience was a delightful one. Place is small, easily missed save for a queue that tends to build up outside. Very unassuming place, with kids art (we can only assume it is the business owner's grandchildren's masterpieces) and handwritten messages plastered on the walls.

Food is very local and delicious - the pork, beef and vegetable dumplings were all extremely delicious. Fried spring roll and the vegetable with bean curd is a Must Try. Their noodles were also hearty, and every serving is made for sharing.

Price wise, best value for money in the area.

Owner/ staff are friendly and patient. English is not spoken well, but there are enough pictures in the menu, it is easy enough to point to what you like.

Try to find this place if you find yourself in the area.
