I didn't count exactly how many steps up to the top from the Plaza, but the steps are easy to climb and descend. They are wide steps and not steep, and there are rails to hold, and corners to rest. Suggest you try the traditional vegetarian restaurants, and shop for souvenirs at the stores, usually not as crowded as Victoria Peak.

It is a testing walk up the steps (I’m 68) but with a couple of rest stops I managed without any problem. An excellent experience reading the history/story of the sight as we walked around inside. A must see in my opinion.

It is one of the must visit places in Hong Kong.
Ideal place to spend a quiet morning. There is hall inside the Monastery called the Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas, which is worth seeing. No photography is allowed inside.

Take a tour from the City the drive there is beautiful and relaxing. We stopped every now and then so see some of the sights on the way it was worth the ride.
