I stayed one night in this hotel and I found this hotel is value for money. Staffs are helpful and friendly. I reached the hotel at night so I ate my dinner in the restaurant at the lobby. The menu and the service were good. If you need taxi, you can ask the bell boy outside since the location of the hotel is not at the big road.

I like the website and the facility to book online with fixed price policy, however the response for confirmation needs to be improved. Although internet was provided free, my friend found difficulties to connect.

This hotel is very large, and has been grandiose. There are still several uniformed bell hops at the front door and several people at the reception desk.

However, it is fading. A few examples: the marble in my bathroom was starting to fall into small chunks at the doorstep and around the mirror. The minibar has been removed, WiFi access is neither free nor fast, and the breakfast buffet includes lovely chunks of fruit, but they were obviously cut from the fruit sold at reduced prices the previous day.

It seems that large families have taken up long term residence. To reach my room, I walked along a corridor with most room doors open, with men relaxing, chatting, smoking and squatting both in the rooms and in the corridor (There were ashtrays provided every few steps along the corridor.) I felt like I walked through a home on the way to my room.

The hotel bar is full of those happy, social, smoking families in the evening, with women visible as well, and doesn't serve alcohol.

The location is quite far from the city center or most business venues. Since Jakarta traffic is both bad and unpredictable, you need to take taxis most places and leave a large time margin.

You should insist on the Bluebird taxi service; they seem to be the most reliable, safe, and non-cheating service available. That warning unfortunately includes the hotel cabs; they offered a communal ride to the airport for 250,000, while a taxi to myself cost 80,000.
