We went on a Thursday and the waterpark was not very crowded at all. Especially compared to waterparks in the US!

We didn't have to wait for more than 1 rider at any of the 5 water slides that we went on. The lazy river is truly 'lazy' as there is only 1 section where you go under a couple of spots that drip water on you... otherwise, you can just be in the river and don't have to worry about getting sprayed.

The wave pool is awesome. The waves are pretty large and having the option to sit on a raft or tube makes the experience even better. This is the most crowded attraction at the waterpark. Also, they stop the waves about every other hour.

The water slides are all fun. Recommend doing the ones where you sit on a raft/mat/tube rather than the ones that you slide down on your back as you can get stuck.

The waterpark pretty much emptied out after lunchtime which was strange to us as it was only open till 4 pm anyways...we basically had the whole place to ourselves from 2 to 4 pm!

All of the signs are in Indonesian but the staff is very friendly and knows enough English that we could communicate well enough.

The woman at the ticket counter even called us a Grab car to get us back to our hotel - so nice!

Took off 1 star because:

1) The only vegetarian food option that we saw was french fries. So glad that we snuck in some snacks.

2) The showers are lukewarm water at best.

Playing water for some people is considered as children game, not for us as a family who is excite with the various games of water, either in nature or on the rides like Jogja Bay.

This time, we took our teenagers to enjoy various sliders provided in Joga Bay Waterpark, some of which are quite challenging and adrenaline rush. They really enjoy every available rides, in addition to considerable variants, other adequate facilities are also available, such as restaurant or food stalls at some point. The price offered was quite affordable with a convenient location.

There’re some gazebo scattered here, suitable for you who bring the group. The towel and locker facilities are very helpful, so it is not too much trouble to bring things. The serving staff were friendly and very helpful.

Enjoy your time.

As the other reviewers say this is a great place for everybody. They have pools for young childrens until the extreme ones for super adventurous adults. The shops sell everything you need in reasonable price such as sunscreen (a must!), waterproof phone case (very popular!), soap and shampoo, everything you need! I gave 4 stars only because i came here on a public holiday so there were too many people and queuing time for each ride can be 45-60mins. So best avoid public holidays!

18 of us visited this place and we are very impressed with the layout and the facilities of the water park. They had many different slides from the small one for young children to the big slides to cater older children’s . Reasonable price to get in and inside are clean. Not allowed to bring your own foods but the restaurant inside will provide you with reasonable priced foods and drink. Really recommend to visit this water park, you can spend all day to explore and try all the slides.
