Beautiful view and scenery, enjoyable stroll while reading up on Singapore's history and taking in the breeze -- best of all, it's free and I hope it will always be. Not too crowded either which is great!

We did a night tour of Fort Siloso and did the Skywalk at night. The views are really good and I'm surprised they don't generally have it open at night.

I always like walkways high in the air, and this one was as good as any. The actual Fort Siloso is at the end of it, but of course you don't have to see it if you don't want to. Interesting to see that the posh resort out that end gets to see the shipping area with cranes and stuff- 5 star view, I don't think!

I was surprised to find that the skywalk is free. For such a spectacular view all around and then a wander around Fort Siloso, all for free. Unusual in Sentosa where everything else seems to be expensive!

I was trying to get to Fort Siloso, and assumed this was the main entrance as it's the first thing you encounter that says "Fort Siloso" on Imbiah Road, so I ended up doing the Skywalk on the way to the fort proper. In retrospect I'd probably visit the fort first via the main entrance at the end of Imbiah Road, then come back via the Skywalk. But either way it's a great experience. Like everything else in Singapore it's well-built, well-maintained, well-signed, and with lots of information to explain what you're seeing. There are even weather canopies installed at intervals in case of sudden downpours; a nice touch. Well worth it, and not very difficult to get to. Very accessible as it's served by ramps and a lift to the main skywalk level.
