Although we visited Singapore in January 2012, I decided to write this long posponed review to counterbalance some negative opinions of the fellow travellers about this beautiful property. We stayed 6 nights in the Executive room with stunning panoramic sea view for 2720 SGD (breakfast included). The room was cheerful, immaculate, of decent size and with extremely comfortable beds. Do not forget to check out the HBO channel for great movies in English. The breakfast was served in two restaurants - we went to the one with virtually no kids. The breakfast itself was great. For dinner we used to go to the seaside restaurant Barnacles, which was tremendously romantic and relaxing. The tables outside are definitely better. The food was fantastic! We were quite satisfied with the general level of service - it was professional, friendly and client-oriented.

Room tip: Rooms with sea view on higher floors are fabulous

This is an excellent hotel for a relaxing stay in Singapore. The service was lovely and the staff could not do enough for you. The only drawback was the number of children which made breakfast very noisy on one occasion. The breakfast was very well done, and we also dined at the buffet, which was top notch. The rooms and beds are also very comfortable. I love this hotel for the sea views, and highly recommend this little oasis in a very busy city.

Room tip: Definately choose a sea view if you can.

My family and I have been staying here for years. Even before the recent renovation it was excellent, the staff are the friendliest staff I have EVER come across, they're always absolutely lovely and so friendly!

The facilities are fab, the restaurants out of this world, especially the seafood restaurant, and the swimming pools big enough for everyone. A very child friendly resort, yet still good for adults.

The resort is rght on the beach, in the middle of the jungle on Sentosa Island, and only a short trip from Singapore city centre on the free shuttlebus. It's just perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet close enough to still go out for dinner there.

I can't wait to stay here again!

My family and I checked in for a night for a birthday celebration.
This is our first stay after the hotel's extensive renovation. We stayed in a sea facing suite which has a beautiful sea view. The suite has a spacious extended balcony and an outdoor juccuzi. Check in was pleasant with the hotel staff's warm congratulations for the birthday celebration.
We looked up for some of the old staff who are still working here after the renovation and they still remembered us. It's a nice feeling!
Happy hour by the pool is so relaxing, watching the colourful birds and butterflies in the midst of the lush landscape with the soft gentle sea breeze.
Dinner was room service which we had at our spacious balcony overlooking the gorgeous greenaries and beautiful blue sea. Food was good. It was all so very pleasant if not for a slight hitch.
The staff promised a birthday cake which was never delivered, though they insisted that it was!
When finally they realized that they had actually delivered to the wrong room, the management sent some desserts on a plate with a candle, a complimentary bottle of wine and a basket of fruits.
This gracious act really made our day!
On the whole the stay was good as before ( we had been frequent guest since 15 years ago).
It's not always perfect but the staff try hard to please, which makes all the stays so pleasant !

Room tip: Choose the sea facing suite if budget permits. The spacious balcony with an unbeatable view is worth the extra charge.

Just returned from spending 8 nights here with our two children (8 + 8) and can't recommend it enough. From the minute we arrived until the minute we left we had a fantastic time! We'd read about queues for breakfast so made sure we were there by 08:45 and I think the longest we waited was 1 minute but when we left after 9 am there would have been 15 - 20 people waiting. Kids loved the water slides and the kids club is a must for when the parents need some alone time. We dropped them off at 9:30 and at 4pm they had done all sorts of activities, had lunch and didn't want to leave (we finally collected them at 8:55 pm after they had dinner) and it didn't cost a cent. Make sure you take advantage of the free shuttle service to Vivo City and we will definitely be coming back.
