We came here fairly early this morning for a swim and some playing in the sand. Unfortunately most of the beach was pretty filthy with seaweed and oil. We managed to find a section which wasn't too bad, but still ended up with some nasty oil stains on our swimming costumes and bodies. The perils of swimming in polluted Singapore waters.
Everyone enjoyed the crossing despite the congestion and swaying! Once on the other side there are places to sit and enjoy the views.
At first I feel dizzy walking at this area but as I goes by I enjoyed walking to this bouncing bridge.
If you have never been on a rope bridge before this is the one to visit because it not too high (If you are scared of heights). It is very well maintained (So no Indiana Jones moments with rickety bridges). No rubbish insight. Enough width for two people to pass in opposite directions.
Enjoy water, sand and travel along the floating and bouncing bridge to the small island . Enjoy the view of a people sliding from hill top to the island by a single rope over distance of quarter kilometer .
Loved walking this wackly bridge! Here you reach the most Southern point of Continental Asia. Worth a go.
