This is my all time favourite restaurant for Kerala food. The owner personally takes feedback from the customers. Koli porichuyeduthathu and meen porichuyeduthathu, aappam, kadai curry, set meals and veg stew are the must trys. They serve liquor.

Quite a run down place, nothing great, No fancy seating, looks more like a fast food joint.

Service
We went on a weekend, and as expected, there was a decent amount of crowd. BUT, inspite of that , there were just 2 servers and boy oh boy, they were all over the place. Poor guys actually. Seems that the management in trying to look at cost cutting now.
The servers tried their best to manage, but it was really evident that they were not able to handle and infact openly told us about to expect to wait for atleast 25- 30 mnts for our food. (And We did).

Food
Since we had waited close to about 40 odd mnts, hunger was on a higher level, and the food seemed to manage to calm our nerves.
Had the mutton fry, the fish fry, veg korma, Kerala parathas .
The mutton dry was not that great and tasted just average, however the other dishes were flavourful and reminded us of authentic Kerala cuisine. So overall, a good food experience.

Price
Compared to other joints on Race course road, this place is more price friendly. So not a deep hole in the pockets.

Will go back to try the other items as well.

Am sure Keralites will love this place.. quite genuine taste and some good specialties like fish polichathu.. a bit pricey though ..

The food was really tasty, especially the vegetable korma. And the staff was very nice. We’ll certainly come back.
