So when you think of Indian food, you think about Naan, chicken tandoori, fish head curry, thosai, palak paneer etc. They are mostly North and South Indian food, where 2 different states have completely 2 different languages and food.
I am gonna introduce Keralite food. Kerala is at India's southwestern Malabar coast. They are identified as native speakers of the Malayalam language.
In Spice Junction located at the heart of Race Coast Road in Singapore - the ultimate indian food paradise, i would strongly recommend to try the following:
♡ Fried Prawns
♡ Fish (all their fish items are amazing)
♡ Kappa (sauted tapioca with curry leaves)
It is indeed a great decision, for us to focus on the meat/seafood dishes instead of having rice-parota. Having said, the kappa is something not commonly found, so i would still suggest to try along with the rest of the dishes.
So next time, if you go Indian, do think of Keralite food too.
