I have tried many dim sum place in Singapore for breakfast. I would rate Mouth as one of my preferred. The service is very good and you don’t need to wait for attention, they even top up your tea! Mouth have an extensive dim sum menu with all the usuals and a few innovative twists. The quality of food is good. Mini dumplings in vinegar are my favourite, and the Mouth special 6 flavoured dumplings are colourful and yummy!

Altogether the food is not exceptional, but above average. Combined with decent prices, good service and good menu options, I recommend it.

We had a colleagues farewell lunch here today. We wanted to utilise a voucher worth $200 from Fave which we thought was a good deal. The first impression that greeted us was a gentleman in black named "ANN" (assuming he is the restaurant lead).
1. As it was our first time using the voucher he firmly told us that we have to order above $200 in order to use the voucher, he sounded very firm and to the extent that he wanted us to listen and make sure we understood what he meant. He didn't seem very friendly nor welcoming at all. His tone and attitude shocked us!
2. We asked one of the staff named "CINDY" to help us take a group photo and she rudely told us in Mandarin (can you make it fast because we are shorthanded), is this a very polite and nice way to treat diners at all?
3. We realised that our food orders were exceeding our own consumption so we asked if we can take away our left overs, the staff told us that all containers that are required to do the take out will be charged.
4. We asked for red chilly and they also rudely asked us "WAIT"
5. We made a reservation 2 weeks ahead but we called them 3 hrs before we headed to the venue and realised they didn't take down our reservation, luckily they had a table available for our group.

Sadly the food was quite pleasant especially the Liu Sha Bao, we spent a total of $242 today.
Based on how we were treated at this restaurant, it's quite a shame this outlet is a disgrace to the Mouth group of restaurants. They need to up their service standard especially in this Chinatown outlet where many tourists hang out. We cannot allow such establishments show how ugly the Singaporean standards in the Food and beverage industry.

We are definitely not coming back!

Good service. Dim sum varied in quality and taste but good value for the price. Several different offers on so try and get one of them.

Should you decide to go over the weekends, it would be best to make a reservation. Lunch time on the weekdays are fine with walk-in.

The food are served piping hot, and they were dished out shortly after ordering. Good for the ravenous! The siew mais are plump, fried banana and shrimp rolls are juicy, fried tofu in salt was fried to perfection, the egg-tarts are tiny morsels or deliciousness, and the baked liu sha baos are simply THE BEST IN TOWN. I kid you not. Skip the roast suckling pig and the har gao, they are not worth splurging your calories on.

Service is good but the claim for the fave coupon is limited. There are lots of restrictions for dinner and thus limited choices. If I have come for lunch, there will be more choices from dim sum.
