Stayed here in Mar 2017.
Was welcomed by the front desk receptionist with welcome drinks upon arrival, and check in was swift - we got our room cards within 5 minutes! Requested for a high floor and got a decent level with good view. Room was comfortable! It had a ledge for us to sit at the window and relax. Bathroom design is interesting as the shower area and bathtub was sort of joined together. Bathtub could be of better design as it was slippery with soapy water. 24/7 gym and infinity pool on the 12th floor was small, but cosy! Would be better if the pool water was warmed in the evenings. Dry sauna and steam bath was also available - an added bonus! Wished there was a jacuzzi too. Lockers available for us to use as well, so clothing, phones and additional stuff that we didn't need at the pool/sauna could be locked in there. As we checked in on a Saturday, there was also a movie night at level 12 next to the poolside.
I loved the all-day refreshments served at the lobby mini restaurant - not a wide variety but all the food was well worth a full meal there. Great job done! During dinner time there were cocktails and entertainment(ours was a magic performance) to go with the food as a finishing touch. Breakfast served was quite a typical western style with some touches of Asian. Checking out procedure was also fast! Very well organised, would definitely come back again.

Decided to stay at the Quincy Hotel because of good reviews it has. It has no car park so if you are driving, you need to park at its sister hotel, the Elizabeth Hotel, next door. The 'tunnel' to the car park is really narrow and cash card needs to be slotted at the gantry for entry. Unfortunately for me, this tunnel posed a problem for me when I exited and the side of my car was scratched.
Check in was not an issue and we managed to check in early and had both rooms side by side. Rooms are relatively huge and there was a lot of concealed spaces like the wardrobe which is only revealed when you close the bathroom door. The ironing board was also behind a glass panel.
The window curtains were see through until we figured out that a blackout blind can be lowered with a switch beside the bed.
What we didn't like was the toilet seat which didn't rest well on the toilet bowl so we had surprises and fears of cracking the seat at times. To resolve this, we decided to lift up the seat. One room also had problems with the bathtub. Couldn't drain the water and had to call housekeeping which sent the technician quite quickly to help. The problem recurred again but since we were checking out, we didn't trouble the technician again.
If you need usb charging outlets, you won't find any so bring your own. There was a phone with data plan in each room so it would be useful to foreigners staying there. Wifi is complimentary and publications are available for download in pressreader.
Food is part of the reason we stayed there. 6.45 to 12 breakfast has the widest selection of food, 12 to 2 is lunch and 6 to 8.30 is dinner. All day refreshments refer to the bottles of cookies, tortilla chips and mixed trail... no more cashew nuts from previous reviews. We checked out on a Saturday and realised that cream cakes were served in the afternoon and there was some activity going on in the dining area. Not that the cheesecake wasn't good but I was looking for cream cakes. How we wished we had stayed another night! Complimentary mini bar and water and H2O can be found at the 12th level where the swimming pool and gym are. Not really an infinity pool but it allows a great view and there is a glass peekaboo panel on the pool bottom which allows you to admire the scenery and road below. This is a novelty cos I have not seen this anywhere else.
Security is good. Entrance to the hotel entrance, lifts to room etc is via your room key. No wonder they didn't even need to check our room numbers when we had our meals.
Quincy hotel is good for a stay-in-hotel Staycation. The road down to Orchard Road is a challenge for people not used to slopes. The other way to Scotts Road via York Hotel car park past Goodwood Park hotel is more manageable. It would be good to provide a shuttle service for people who may want to shop around Orchard Road. However we saw a lot of taxis along the road so hailing a cab should not be a problem. There is also a Grab taxi booth near the reception area.

We visited the Quincy for a single night stop over on way home from Thailand. Hotel is a boutique style modern but classy/chiq in decoration. Rooms are spacious with fantastic showers, extremely comfortable beds and breakfast excellent. Only drawback is it doesn't have a bar.
Would highly recommend

Complimentary cocktails are served from 6 till 8.30 every evening. However we do accept food and beverage orders right till 10.30 pm but these will be at your own cost.

Clean tidy budget hotel - small dinning and waiting area. 10-12 mins walk to Orchard road 5-7 mins walk to 7/11 and pharmacy. Upgraded for S $30 it was pretty much the same room, you get an extra coffee machine.
Free mini bar all day lights snacks were a bonus, but as we were out most of the day didn't get to try their all day menu.
Avoid room 1109 the fan is faulty the maintenance guy knew it, still we were moved us they should have refused and simply said upgraded not possible. The maintenance guy increased the speed of the fan and it kept making noise all night we checked out the next day got another hotel right on orchard road. So a little more search won't hurt

Awesome experience. Staff was thoughtful and accommodating, with very prompt service. They even prepared a hand drawn card and a cake for is as we were there to celebrate our anniversary.
The quality of the food is awesome, given that it's free food and drinks all day. Will definitely visit again
