I arrived at River city Inn at 1:30am and the staff is very kind to introduce all the facilities of the hostel even in the midnight, I only stay one night and I met all the friendly staff to help me with tourist problem. Both of the room and toilet are clean, desktops are available and new, I really enjoy the time I spent over there, one night is not enough!

We shared a 4 bed room which consisted of 2 sets of bunks, 4 lockers a fan and air con (essential for Singapore). We found customer service to be excellent. The backpackers provided a simple breakfast of toast spreads, tea, coffee, milo, fruit - which was a great way to start each day. We found the hostel to be perfectly located within easy walking distance to Clarke Quay for nightlife and Chinatown for cheap shopping and delicious cheap eats. The only down side with the hostel would be the cramped shared bathing facilities but this is only a small downside outweighed by the excellent service and location. Highly recommend for all ages
I stayed here for 3 nights along with 7 of my friends and everything went out smoothly. Staff are really nice and helpful, breakfast was good (I had peanut butter jelly every morning :]), location is prime where we could walk to almost everywhere including Clarke Quay Station. We played Xbox with Kinect in the morning which is a lot fun and the best thing here is they let us check-out late. We got our bags around 10pm the day of our check-out before we head to JB. We will absolutely be back here!
It's very clean inn and comfort also cozy place to stay. But the location at 4th floor and no escalator or lift make me very tired to reach the place especially after a long day tired watch f1 gp. Overall it's excelent place to stay and with very friendly staff. I would like to stay again in this place in the future :)
River City Inn is really a good place. Comfortable and clean. Also the staff is very kind. This is my first time to stay at backpacker's hostel. It's really interesting and I had lots of fun there. Staying in River City Inn is just like back to the life in university living with many classmates. And also the memory in school all come back to my mind. Thanks River City Inn giving us lots of good memory in Singapore.
I came there during F1 Grand Prix. The manage and staff are very friendly. The hostel is clean. Unfortunately, the first night was very noisy. There was a group of young men had a party and made very extremely loud noise although it's almost midnight but they didn't care. The mattress is covered with plastic, it's not comfortable. Anyway, it's very cheap hostel, we should not have high expectation.
Thank you for your feedback. We always keep the volume down in the hostel after 11pm to ensure that guests who wish to rest early can do so. During the F1 season, the crowd was rowdier before 11pm. The guests who were having some drinks before heading out left at 11pm and we were very cautious about the noise level and ensured that it was not too loud at all times. Guest who are uncomfortable with any aspect during their stay with us should let us know (at the reception)so that immediate action can be taken to rectify the problem. Your satisfaction to us is very important and we will do our best to meet your needs.
