At first, asked for another room just after seeing the first one. It was very shabby and stinked horribly with some detergent or mothballs. The second room was a little bit better and I was too tired to look for another hotel. I will not complain about lack of space to sit or not divided shower (so if one of us had a shower, the rest can swim in the bathroom...), but what shocked me and is the main reason of poor evaluation, is following incident. One evening (returning very tired from whole day sightseeing) we found our room with door widely opened, all lights on. I immediately asked the receptionist for explanation....and after some call with manager and many many nice words like nothing could happened as it's a very safe place etc. we received explanation, that it was probably someone from the maintenance staff or cleaners, but the cannot check CCTV now because of something etc. So my room, with mine and my parents clothes, documents, computer, was opened for "public" (any hotel guest) for whole day. Yes, the staff apologized, but sorry, there's no apology for this. After my request they changed also the bed linen and yes, after my question how this failure will be compensated, they gave us back money for one night. But I don't find this sufficient. Keep away from this place, that's my recommendation.
The location is very good, close to MRT station and in a walking distance to Chinatown, surrounded by a lot of nice restaurants.

This location is walkable to Riverside walk, China town, Buggy street, Bus Access, Easy access for Taxi, DNA Helix bridge, Merlion, MRT, variety of food stall in Clarke Quay and Fort Canning Park. Family stay was nice comfortable with all promised free breakfast, tea and coffee machine. Excellant view from rooftop in night hours.

Room Tip: Ask for roof top room or with Terrace and bath tub

The best thing of the hotel is the location, 3 minute walking to the subway, walking distance to Chinatown. The staff was really kind with us.

The rooms are small and the buffet breakfast is average.

Wifi wasn’t good, slow and was hard to connect sometimes.

Great location, near clark quey MRT station, merlion is in walking distance, breakfast is nice, clean room, helpful staff and all you can expect from mid-range hotel. But it has a great sundeck on rooftop where you can hang around with marina bay view, which is very nice.

Room Tip: i stayed in room 401 where it has another roof patio beside the room

Getting a good quality room at a cheap price in Singapore isn't easy, but Jayleen was up to the job and in a great location too. Room was quirky but quiet and the bed was comfortable. One thing to bear in mind is that taxis will not stop outside the door so you will have to walk around the corner with your luggage.
